Touchstone Resources Limited has been selling printer consumables since 1996, even before the days of Internet sales! We started advertising in the back of the computer monthlies and customers would place orders by cheque which had to clear before we could despatch! Now, you can place an order on our website, put your credit card details into our secure server and if it is before 4pm, it will be sent out the same day by 1st class Royal Mail.

We don't want to make you feel jealous but we have recently moved to Cowes on the sunny Isle of Wight and we can see the yatching community from our window, sailing past whilst we busily despatch your orders.

Making A Purchase Making an online purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy, choose the quantity you need and put them into the shopping cart. You can add and delete items at any time without difficulty. When you have finished your selection, go to the Checkout and fill in the payment details.

We accept all credit and debit cards except American Express and Diners Club without any surcharge. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information, via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

Shipping And Handling Our prices include VAT (UK orders). Postage, packing and handling is free of charge. There are no hidden surcharges. A VAT invoice is supplied with each order. Additional shipping charges are made for International orders, please contact us for details. Orders are despatched by 1st class post for orders over £9.99 in value and by 2nd class for orders less than £9.98
Delivery Schedule All orders over £10 (excluding postage) received before 4pm are despatched the same day by 1st class post (please note this is not a guaranteed next day service). Please allow up to 15 working days (this is the Royal Mail's current service level, not ours) for delivery. Orders of a value less than £10.00 (excluding postage) are sent by 2nd Class Post. However, if you need guaranteed next day delivery, please telephone your order through on 01983 281281 and specify the service you require. (an additional shipping charge will be made)

All prices are delivery paid to UK POSTCODED addresses. Additional shipping charges will be made for applied for International Orders, please contact us for details.
Back Orders We keep a large stock of most items. When we do not have an item in stock we will back order it for you. We will e-mail or telephone you to advise you of this and will offer you an alternative if one exists. Back orders can be cancelled at any time prior to despatch. Any printer consumable not listed here is available to order. Most goods are generally available within 48 hours but please allow up to 5 days. Special order goods cannot be cancelled once the goods are en route to us.
Tax Charges All prices include VAT (VAT is shown separately at the checkout).
Credit Card Security Our online shopping system is totally secure. You will see the "Gold Padlock" in your browser window when ordering. We use both the SSL Standard 256-bit encryption and our web software's own 128-bit encryption, which is only translated into readable form when we download it onto our server. Typically, encryption keys are 40-bit or 56-bit outside of the USA. A 41-bit key is twice as strong as a 40-bit key. The 128-bit encryption key used in Touchstone's shopping system is 4,722,366,482,869,645,213,696 times as strong as the SSL 56-bit key!!!!! Our security policy is in accordance with BS7799 (Code of Practice for Information Security Management). The person responsible for web site security is Web Manager (01983 281281).

Guarantee We guarantee everything we sell for a minimum of 12 months from date of purchase, (3 months for reconditioned/remanufactured product). Should you have a delivery discrepancy or your goods are damaged on arrival, we will rectify the problem within 24 hours of you informing us. If your goods prove faulty within 30 days of date of purchase, you have the option of a full refund or an exchange. Outside this initial period faulty goods will be exchanged or a credit note given. Any terms, conditions or warranties described here are in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

This will enable us to track your return and deal with it efficiently. Returned product should be sent by Recorded Delivery and proof of posting must be obtained. We cannot be held responsible for product not delivered by Royal Mail for whatever reason) Credit card refunds are processed twice monthly and a copy of each transaction will be sent to you for your records.

Privacy Policy Touchstone is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). The customer information we gather is any data collected during the ordering process. Information gathered is for our own internal use only to monitor advertising effectiveness, consumer trends etc and will only be used by Touchstone Resources Ltd. We may from time to time send you details of any current Special offers. If you prefer not to receive these please tick the box during the ordering process to OPT OUT.

Returns Policy YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 allow for a cooling off period during which you have the right to cancel your order. The cooling off period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which you receive the goods. Should you wish to exercise this right, first of all we require you to inform us of your intention to return the goods (please call us or email us so that we may expect the goods back) and despatch them back by recorded post to ensure their safe delivery. All postage costs for the return are your responsibility. All goods returned to us should be unopened and in resalable condition. You then have a further 7 working days to return the item to us. Once 14 calendar days have elapsed since the despatch date these rights will lapse. The only exceptions are specially ordered items, which cannot be cancelled, and software that has been unsealed. These items will be clearly marked on the website, in order that you are aware of the conditions before you place the order.

Where you have exercised your right to cancel and we have received the goods back we will refund your money within 30 days. For goods ordered in error, all we will charge is our 'actual' postage costs in sending the products to you.

Remittance Terms All orders placed via the internet must be prepaid by credit or debit card. Account holders must settle accounts strictly within 30 days of invoice date.
